About Us

David W. Farrell, Attorney at Law

This is not always the case, though. First and foremost, attorney Farrell is a trial lawyer. He knows his way around the courtroom. He knows how to stand in front of a jury. He knows how to build aggressive legal strategies that are designed to succeed.

At the law firm of David W. Farrell, Attorney at Law, you will receive the benefit of more than 28 years of criminal law experience. We serve clients in Columbia, Lexington and throughout South Carolina.

Attorney Farrell handles every case personally. That means that when you choose our law office, you can be confident that your case is in good hands. You can be confident that we will zealously defend you.

The Experience of a Former State Prosecutor

Our firm’s sole focus is criminal law, and we know it from both sides. Attorney Farrell is a former South Carolina state prosecutor. He began his career taking action against people who were accused of crimes, but now he works to defend the accused.

Our criminal defense strategies are strengthened by the fact that we know the opposition. We know their tactics, we know their weaknesses and we know how to get results. In addition, attorney Farrell regularly consults with some of South Carolina’s attorney, giving his clients access to their experience. These collaborations are particularly useful in federal court, as well as in complex matters in state court.

Strength at the Negotiation Table and at Trial

Some cases can be resolved by working with the opposition, instead of against them. Sometimes, negotiation can lead to a positive outcome and yield the best result.
